Along Duke of Gloucester Street in Colonial Williamsburg you will find numerous restaurants and “taverns” (e.g. Raleigh Tavern, Fat Canary, Seasons). Raleigh Tavern, Shield’s Tavern, and The King’s Arms offer an interesting “colonial” atmosphere.

How To Get Here
William and Mary is located 150 miles south of Washington, D.C., midway between Richmond and Norfolk on I-64.

From the East, take I-64 West. Take Exit 238. At the second set of lights (Route 132), turn right. Turn right again at the next set of lights (Route 60 Bypass). Follow Bypass Road to where it ends and intersects with Richmond Road. Turn left on Richmond Road. At the third set of lights, you will see the Walter F. Zable Stadium on the right. Turn right into the stadium parking lot and bare right along side of the stadium. At the stop sign make a left. Make your first right and follow the road up to another stop sign. Turn right onto Campus Drive. You will see the entrance to the William & Mary Hall parking lot on your left.

From the west: Take I-64 East. Take Exit 234 (for Lightfoot, Route 199 East) and follow for approximately 8 miles to the second stoplight at the intersection of 199 and Jamestown Road. Take a left onto Jamestown Road, and follow for approximately 1 mile until you see a left turn lane just beyond a wooded parking lot. Turn left onto Campus Drive. Follow Campus Drive to a stop sign. Turn left. Continue on Campus Drive until you see the William & Mary Hall parking lot on your left.

Colonial Sampler Ticket = $34.00 adults (admission for one day of visiting Colonial Williamsburg. This ticket DOES NOT include the Capital, Governor's Palace, Bassett Hall, DeWitt Wallace Decorative Arts Museum or Colonial Explorer Activities.
Governor’s Key to the City Pass = $48.00 (admission for two consecutive days of visiting Colonial Williamsburg INCLUDING the Capital, Governor's Palace, Bassett Hall, and DeWitt Wallace Decorative Arts Museum.
Freedom Pass = $59.00 (daily admission for a full year; access to all main exhibits.)

Note: Colonial Williamsburg is located across the street from William & Mary. No admission is required to walk down the streets of Colonial Williamsburg or enter shops (many of which are also historically restored and decorated buildings!). Admission is required to enter any of the historical representation buildings.
